Fill-in crew member. Flight Engineer/Gunner. Protestant. Original crew of B-17 'Lucky Lady. ' KIA in crash at Bingen-on-the-Rhine in B-17 #43-39031. Details of his death unknown. AC shot down by Flak just after Bombs Away. Direct hit in bomb bay area with doors open. Buried at American Cemetery, Lorraine, France.
