Clare R Harnden
MilitarySurvived the war and married Pearl Marie Brisbin in 1949. Many years later Clare and Pearl tried to locate the site of the food drop at Vercours in France of July14th 1944. They were 'overwhelmed' by the hospitality of the local but failed to find the exact spot. Clare discovered that the drop was actually about 50 miles south of Limoges.
