Lieutenant Colonel Jim Rice, first cousin twice removed.  My grandfather and his father were first cousins, but due to age differences, Chester and brother Lewis were only a 3-4 years older than my father, a B-24 Pilot in ETO.  I have been in contact with Chester's uncle.  Since both boys were killed, other than one nephew, that branch of the family was ended.
