Charles Robert Spaid
MilitaryCharles Spaid was an engine mechanic stationed at Burtonwood Air Depot in Warrington, England. He was in the Army one month and five days in the States and two years, six months, and 25 days overseas.
Spaid stayed in the Army Air Forces and then the Air Force after the war ended. He was employed at Olmstead Air Force Base, Middletown, Pennsylvania, Brookley Air Force Base, Mobile, Alabama, and retired from Hill Air Force Base in Utah after 38 years of service.
