I do not know who entered a correction naming the B-17G "Little Chub", but that has never been mentioned. They all called her Lonesome Polecat. Please let me know how this person proved that and full details. The aircraft flew only one mission and ended ditched into Zugersee. The people of the city greatly admired Lt Meyers ditching after the crew parachuted into the see rather than placing it on auto control with the danger of destruction to their communities.
