"When our crew arrived in England I got pneumonia and was in the hospital while the crew flew four missions then I flew with them until they finished their thirty five missions. I finished my missions with anyone that needed a ball turret or one mission I went on I served as a waist gunner. I was on Ol Gappy on the 110th mission."
