MilitaryShot down on 6 September 1943 in B-17 #425890. Forced landing near Poissy 20 miles west of Paris. Train to south of France Lavalanet, Foix. Walked over the Pyrenees to Barcelona by way of Andorra. From Barcelona went to Saragosa to Alamha D'Aragon, then by train to Gibralter. Plane back to England. Returned to the USA by the end of December 1943
