Awards: DFC, AM (3OLC), WWII Victory, EAME (3 battle stars).



Post War: Received his bachelor's degree from University of Alabama. Subsequently receiving his law degree from St John's University School of Law, practiced law and served in local government. Was elected to the New York Supreme Court for Suffolk County, NY, serving from 1966 until 1993, also an administrative judge.
