2nd Lt Teall died in a fatal crash in South Italy, occurred 5 miles North of Bovino, exactly near Panni (Province of Foggia), on 22nd November 1944, 8:30 AM, for unknown reasons. The plane was a B-24J number #42-51747, taken off from Castelluccio Field (Foggia Airfield Complex) and was part of 451st Bomb Group, 725th squadron, 15th Air Force. All the crew died on fatal crash: Teall, Walter, Jacobsen, Bales, Oxford, Yount, Sullivan, Haser, Diskin, Gulledge. According to official documents, the plane entered into a spin, probably from pilot error, and crashed on fields. The B-24 was on mission, the target of the day was Munich, Germany.
