Arthur G Bodei served as a bombardier with the 100th Bomb Group. He was shot down on his first mission on 26 November 1943 in B-17 #4231215 at La Neuville. It was part of a raid on a ball bearing plant, Paris. He was taken as a Prisoner of War (POW) and held at Stalag Luft I.
