Arthur F Williams
Military ROLL OF HONOUR2 Lt Arthur F. Williams Jr. of Water Valley, MS, was killed in England when two American planes crashed during take-offs. He was assisting English women and children in leaving an area where bombs were exploding when the accident occurred.
A pilot of a P47, Lieutenant Williams had flown 35 missions. He held the air medal and had earned the Silver Cluster and E. T. O. ribbon with two stars.
