MilitaryAfter a year in England, I volunteered with another lieutenant and a major on an assignment out of USSTAF to help re-establish the German Weather Service ('Das Reichsampt Fur Wetterdienst'). Spent all of 1945 with the 3rd Army (article on file). Discharged to the Reserves in Feb 1946.
