Arnold G Gunderson

Arnold was later a victim of polio, spending many years in a wheelchair.
In April 1942 coming from Tucson, AR 402th Bomber Training Group where he was a T/Sergeant instructor for flight engineers and assigned to the 368th BS at Wendover as aircraft inspector and made M/Sergeant in May 1942. He flew over to England with the original flight crews checking out the new B-17F planes, which were received at Westover Field, Mass. Assigned to Group Engineering maintance and inspection of engines.
