Anthony Mazzei served as a flight engineer/top turret gunner with the 579th Bomb Squadron of the 392nd Bomb Group out of Wendling, England. He was part of Rogillio's crew.

Shot down 13 December 1943 in B-17 #427626 'Liberty Belle. ' Prisoner of War (POW)



He had entered service at Camp Upton, NY 28 August 1942 and joined 392nd BG in September 1943. He was discharged on 5 October 1945.
