Alfred P Shadroui
MilitaryDFC, air medal
Dad and all his brothers joined to serve. Dad's dream was to be a pilot and he was the first in his class to solo. But he wasn't promoted and instead served as a bull turret gunner. He was funny, sociable, family oriented, and patriotic. He told us funny stories about his service, but teared up when speaking about seeing other planes go down.
