Shot down 26 November 1943 in B-17 #42-5795 'Skoal', Returned to base. Collided with enemy FW190 and crashed E of Gardelegan on a mission to Berlin on 6 Mar 1944 in B-17G #42-31578 'My Darling Also'. Killed in Action (KIA).
