True American Farm boy from Missouri and Colorado who joined the service 4 months after start of WWII. Served in Europe Theater of Ops, discharged in Oct 1945 and hired on with Cessna Aircraft in Wichita, KS. Retired after 20+ years with Cessna. Uncle Albert, along my Father, my Father's other brother and another of my Uncles served during WWII. Two survived the war and two did not. Thank God for everyone's sacrifice for home and country!
