Major Abraham Black, of the 303rd Bomb Group, plays a game of shove ha'penny. Image stamped on reverse: ‘Copyright Current Affairs Ltd.’ [stamp], ‘Passed for Publication 28 Jan 1943. [stamp] and ‘245675.’ [Censor no.] Printed caption on reverse: 'Shove Ha'penny has a fan in Major Abraham Black, of 8511 Lefferts Blvd, Richmond Hill, L.I. He is a flight surgeon in the U.S. Medical Corps, and was a doctor in cililian life. Aged 38, and married, he has one son, aged 2 1/2. His parents live in Brooklyn. He graduated from Long Island College Hospital Medical School, and says - "Britain is a great country, but give me Long Island". ANY 28.'
