AMBERG
Description: MARSHALLING YARDS
DONAUWORTH
Description: MARSHALLING YARDS
Aircraft Type: B-17 Flying Fortress
Notes: We were to fly to the airfield SE of Ingolstadt. Our I.P. was the town of Donauworth. We flew over Osfond and Ghent. As we came up on the hapless airfield, it looked like there were 10,000 fires in the building area. Another squadron layed their eggs at about the same place where the other squadron had hit. Then came good, old 710 sqdn.
