IMAGEA two seat P-51 Mustang of the 343rd Fighter Squadron, 55th Fighter Group, (CY-9, serial number "war weary" 43-6928) taxi accident, 13 April 1945. This converted Mustang was with the unit Operational Training Unit, better known as "Clobber College". Pilot invoved in the taxiing accident was Lieutenant Clifford C Gould. The other aircraft involved was P-51D serial number 44-13743 CL-X of the 338th Fighter Squadron, piloted at the time by Captain William F McGill.
