German propaganda leaflet: 'You Americans are sooo different!' During the Second World War, German propaganda used the 'Friendly Invasion' to drive a wedge between Britain and her Allies. The back of this leaflet suggests that American Gis based in Britain are chasing after all the women, whilst the British are fighting and dying elsewhere.
