Assigned to 334FS, 4FG, 8AF USAAF. A/C struck in coolant system shortly after his section engaged and downed two Bf109’s. Attempting to nurse his ship back over friendly territory, 1st Lt Arthur J Senecal stayed with it too long, bailing out moments before it crashed. He was seen to strike the ground ten yards from the crash, his chute unopened. KIA. (MACR 11521).
