42-64439 Bullet Serenade

While on a mission to Brunswick, Germany (445th BG Mission 25) on 2/20/44 the aircraft was shot down by German fighters & exploded in midair. All 9 crew were KIA. The aircraft crashed near Montabaur, Germany. MACR 2438.
