Assigned to 66BS, 44BG, 8AF USAAF. On mission to secondary target Saarbrucken, A/C hit by flak that severed rudder control. Co Pilot bailed out prematurely and rest of crew returned to England after A/C was brought under control. 1 x POW, 11 x RTD. MACR 8186.
