Bio

I am a retired Chief Warrant Officer, USMC. My father, Sgt Roland Hauth, USMC, served as a aircraft mechanic on Marine PBJs (B-25) with Marine Operational Training Squadron 8, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, MCAS Cherry Point, SC, during WWII. I have one uncle who was a B-17 Bomber pilot with over 35 missions over Germany and he survived the attack on Pearl Harbor. My other two uncles served in the Navy in the pacific. My wife's father was a nose gunner in B-24 that was shot down returning from a raid over Dresden.
