John F Mineer: I am the youngest son of Staff Sargent William F. Mineer. My father was a waist gunner in the B-24 Liberator 42-99975 which was shot down on 8 March, 1944. Although my Father passed away in July of 1999, I remember all he told me about his experience in the Dutch Underground.
