Born and raised in Upper Michigan and Northeast Wisconsin, I am now living in Portland OR in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. My grandfather, Staff Sgt. James E. Magruder, was a huge influence on my growing up. I am our family historian, and I joined this site to try to make sure his page was updated.
