I am the son, nephew, and grandson of five men who served in various theatres of World War II. Three of these individuals served in the United States military, one in the Canadian military, and one in the German Wehrmacht, fighting on the Russian front. I am researching all of their careers in the military, in hopes of learning more about my extended family.On this web page, my uncle Marvin Lee Lutes, of the 486th Bombardment Squadron, 835th Bombardment Group from RAF Sudbury, Sudbury, England, is represented.Currently I live in Ontario, Canada, and am involved in quite a large/complicated genealogical project. I have come to realize that I am the only family member left to give voice to those who can no longer speak for themselves - my ancestors. hv
