I am the daughter of Ronald Archer (1919-1996) who served in England during WWII. From what we have determined he was a co-pilot with the 487TH BOMB GROUP, 837 Bomb Squadron and the 493RD BOMB GROUP, 862nd Bomb Squadron. We don't know in what order or any additional information at this time. I am attaching a photo that includes Dad (bottom row, second from left) and his friend Roland Kirksey (top row, second from left) but they both served in both units so it does not get us any closer to what crew this is. It does show "443-1" on the back of the photo.
