Hugh Franklin Burnett
Military ROLL OF HONOURBurnett was killed in action on 22 March 1944, on a mission to Berlin. His crew were forced to bail out of their aircraft B-17G 42-97523. Burnett as pilot was last to leave the ship, and allegedly parachuted from low altitude. German authorities found his body at 14:30 near Drummer Lake in Germany.
