My grand father Edgar Louis Stevenson was the flight mechanic and top turret gunner on the b-17 Hell Below that went down in the English channel. He was a pow during the war. He died when I was 6 years old. He left my father, Alan Edgar stevenson, and I a comemorative painting of hell below with his picture.
