Croswell, MI | 11 December 2007 | akarewicz, Marion H. "Mac" Croswell, Michigan Formerly of Saginaw Age 82, died Tuesday, September 11, 2007. He was born March 9, 1925 in Saginaw, son of the late Joseph and Frances (Zuzuliewicz) Makarewicz. He and Lila E. Ruppel were married May 28, 1949 in Saginaw. Mr. Makarewicz was a WWII veteran of the Army Air Corps, retired 33 year Cros-Lex School teacher and a former Lions Club District Governor. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Lila; two sons, Michael (Cynthia) and Thomas (Janet); five daughters, Janice (Charles) Rytlewski, Deborah (Gerald) Roberts, Ann Marie Cook, Mary Makarewicz, and Theresa (Jack) Lane; eleven grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Sanborn Avenue, Croswell. Visitation 2 to 9 Friday and 11:30 to 12:30 Saturday at Pomeroy Funeral Home, 6 S. Howard Avenue, Croswell. |
