Jerome Yosick was Co-Pilot and GEE Navigator on B-26 Serial #42-107588 on the 14 January 1945 mission to bomb the bridge at Steinebrück, Saint-Vith, Belgium. He is reported as Killed in Action (KIA), but the cause of his death is not known. He rests at the Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupré, Belgium (Plot B Row 43 Grave 1.)

near Saint-Vith, Belgium 14 January 1945 T/Sgt Pippinn radio operator on his crew states in a 30 August 1945 letter that Lt Yosick had jumped immediately after him, did not notice anything wrong with his parachute and could supply no other information about Lt Yosick’s fate. Either Lt Yosick's parachute did not open or he survived but was killed later, in circumstances unknown, as the Battle of the Bulge was still raging in the area.
