Crashed into the cemetery in Mirns, Friesland, the Netherlands on 22 DEC 1943, killing 7 of the 10 crew.

Memphis National Cemetery, Memphis, TN 38122, USA T/Sgt Owens was first buried at the cemetery in Mirns, Netherlands. Then in 1950 his body was sent back to the states to his final resting location in Memphis Nat'l Cemetery.
