John Young and his crewmen flew, The Blue Streak, along with Lt. Royden LeBrecht and his crew, flying his Ploesti ship, The Squaw, with Col. Walter Travis Stewart, who flew the B-24D, Bomerang, a survivor of the Mission over Ploesti, back to Fort Worth, Texas, to begin a war bond tour across America. This photo shows Lt. Young pointing out some of the many places in the MTO, in this case, where he conducted bombing missions on land targets and shipping over Italy. 1944
