Robert Sylvester Kinsey Born April 1 1924 in Oklahoma's Osage Indian Reservation in Hominy Oklahoma to Robert S. Kinsey and Olive Forsythe. His father worked for the Train Company in the Oil Fields. Later moved to Atchison Kansas were he married his High School sweet heart Virginia Lee Grunert. Robert did not graduate High School. He left during his Junior year and married Virginia on September 25th 1942. In November 1942 he enlisted into the U.S. Army Air Corps at age 18 and went for training as a Waist Engineer (Gunner) in Florida, then to Mississippi, Louisiana, Nevada, then to Washington State and Oregon and his crew was formed and flew to England in December 1943. He flew 25 missions in England and then sent to Italy where he flew another 25 missions. He returned home in Sept. 1944 and was stationed in Omaha, Nebraska then transferred to Madison, Wisconsin. Discharged in Sept of 1945 and returned to Kansas City, Missouri and began work at Drug Store, Coke Cola as a delivery driver, then began his sales career with a local Auto Parts Distributor. His sales career then went to Packaging Machinery sales with Larson Packaging Machinery as a Rep and ultimately started his own company, Kinsey Packaging Equipment Co. He became a Boy Scout Leader in the late 50's. He was a Member of the Boy Scouts of America and the Heart of America Council as a Scout Leader and became an Honorary Chief in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say.
