Ditched in Atlantic on flight From Gander, Newfoundland, to England on 10 June 1943. Rescued by a Canadian minesweeper and returned to Presque Isle, Maine. Completed the deployment to England on an ATC C-54. Killed in Action (KIA). Shot down 25 July 1943 in B-17 42-29670.
