I'd love to hear from family, [email protected]. I own this photo and believe to have another of my father with these officers and a spouse.
Killed in Action (KIA) on 9 September 1944 in Skorve, Norway, after crashing B-24 Liberator #42-52196 on a carpetbagger mission.
O'Hara was assigned for the 458th Bomb Group for one day, being assigned to the 755th Bomb Squadron on 20 July 1944, before being placed on a 90 day detachment to Leuchars on 21 July 1944 to take part in Operation ball- the resupply of resistance fighters in Norway.
