Herman L Hodge
MilitaryShot down 22 April 1944 in B-17 #42-39785 "Thru Hel'en Hiwater". He was found wounded near the crash of the Fortress near Delecke, six miles South of Soest, Germany and captured. Brought to hospital in nearby Neheim, he died there on 23 April. Died of Injuries (DOI) as a Prisoner of War (POW).
