Charles L Jordan
MilitaryBorn in South Caroline Charles L Jordan enlisted in 1943 and came to England by Troopship, possibly the Queen Mary in 1944.
He arrived in Podington to join the 92nd BG in July 1944 and completed his tour in January 1945.
On return to the States he used the GI Bill to attend Wofford college from where he graduate Magna Cum Laude.
He married and had 8 children, become the manager of a Textile Plant in Chesnee SC.
He took his final flight on 31st of december 2000.
