Lt. Arthur H. Johnson, was the navigator on the B-24D Liberator bomber, 42-40772, named, Scheherazade, on Operation Tidal Wave, the bombing mission over Ploesti, Romania. The plane and crew survived the mission and were 1 of 6 interned in Portugal. (INT). 1 August 1943.
