On 20 Jun 44 the 857th borrowed 44-40103 SAY WHEN from the 859th and it was lost. On paper, they owed the 859th a replacement plane so they gave them this one. 7 Jul 44: Lost, with Newman Crew 913 6 KIA, 4 POW, MACR 7237 This aircraft was replaced by 42-51171 ELI SWOF, JR.
