This is not Jennie. Jennie was B-24J-1-FO #42-95617 Code: T9-I
The caption in the photo of the crew you are referring to is incorrect. I have added to the caption to correcting ID Jennie. Jennie was parked closest to the control tower and at last count I think I had about 11 different crews photos taken beside of her. She was just handy for a photo department that didnt' want to travel to some of the further hardstands. - Chris Brassfield 466th BG Historian
Found another photo of the plane with another crew in front of it. I guess it was a prior crew using the same plane. On that photo you can clearly see the full name of the plane. The photo is part of a Youtube video about the 466th bomb group.
Provided to 2nd Lt Philip Ross and sent to his family before his plane failed to return.
