A B-24 Liberator (serial number 42-7764) nicknamed "Bag of Bolts of the 448th Bomb Group on a muddy field. Image stamped on reverse: 'Associated Press.' [stamp]. A printed caption was previously attached to the reverse, however this has been removed.

Hit by flak and fighters on 21 February 1944. The aircraft acquired 400 bullet holes and damage, but limped back to Seething.
Two members of the crew were wounded and a third baled out over Germany, the rest returned to Seething
