INDEPENDENT RESEARCHER - I am an Investigator by heart and by occupation. My interest in the USAAF started when I was a young boy and read everything I could get my hands on, in relation to WWII and specifically the USAAF. I enjoy researching individual aircrew members and often spend hours searching through the internet and libraries for information. I also try to contact veterans and/or their families for additional information. Some of the sources I note are listed as "Research". This is due to my having not written down where the information was obtained from. I was often so happy to find information that I neglected to note the source.
