Mary Ellen Pfeifer is the daughter of Lt. Dan C. Knight. Dan was the Pilot of the B-17 "Mary Alice" and flew out of Deenthorpe England in the 401st Bomb Group. Dan named his plane after his mother Mary Alice. After completing his 30 missions, Dan moved to Miami Florida. Mary Ellen lives on Sanibel Island, Florida where she and her husband Eric Pfeifer own their own Real Estate Brokerage: Pfeifer Realty Group.
