I am the only child of Christopher Norman Holweger. My father was the waist gunner and radioman aboard Hadley's Harem during the raid on the oil refineries at Ploesti, Romania, on August 1, 1943. I am writing his biography, "Forgotten Soldier: My Father's World War II Story: Ploesti, Romania."
