Bio

I am the son of Donald l. Barclay, flight engineer and top turret gunner of the B-24 "Spirit of 46". He flew 25 missions. First mission Nov 5, 1943 - last mission March 25, 1944. He retired from the Air Force as a Senior MSGT in 1964. He didn't talk much about his war time experience so I am trying to fill in the blanks. I am fortunate to have a mission-by-mission diary kept by his tail gunner Balser R. Williams. I look forward to adding to the archives on this site.
