The Museum of Transport, Greater Manchester aims to preserve and promote the public transport heritage of Greater Manchester in North West England. It is in the Cheetham area the city, housed in one of Manchester's earliest bus garages, adjoining the first tram depot. The Museum has one of the largest collections of its kind in the country and is run by the volunteers of the Greater Manchester Transport Society.
