I am the great nephew of John Risi (Johnny), a WW2 veteren who was positioned as the ball turret gunner with the Shade Ruff crew on a B-17 Flying Fortress (nicknamed the "Gloria J"). I registered with this website in order to provide the only known picture of Johnny that was taken during his enlistment.
